Dr. Jennifer M. Segal, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive professional experience working with leading dermatologists across the country. Through her established clinical practice, Dr. Segal provides scientifically proven treatments in the fields of skin health and skin aging in a highly personal environment.
Dr. Segal is known for her training in all areas of the field, and has a particular interest in skin care and cosmetic dermatology. An accomplished author and orator, Dr. Segal has published and lectured both nationally and internationally in the fields of cancer research, surgery and dermatology. Most recently, Dr. Segal was appointed Consulting Dermatologist for the Unilever skincare brand, Simple, providing her with an opportunity to share her expertise and skin care philosophies with patients and consumers alike.
A significant portion of Dr. Segal’s private practice is dedicated to cosmetic dermatology, including advanced techniques in soft tissue fillers, the neuromodulators Botox and Dysport, chemical peels, and laser treatments. She enjoys sharing her techniques with peers in her field as a certified Injection Trainer for Medicis Aesthetics, and most recently as faculty at the 2012 Art and Science of Fillers and Injectables meeting from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. As a Volunteer Faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine, she educates medical students and residents about general and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Segal is passionate about cancer research, therapy, and prevention. She has conducted basic science and clinical cancer research at the University of Pennsylvania and New York University Medical Center, and University of California San Francisco. In addition to serving as a member of the MD Anderson Cancer Center Advance Team, she educates young children about sun protection.
Dr. Segal was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and San Francisco, California. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine, where she also performed her residency in dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
A proud mother of two young sons, Dr. Segal enjoys spending time with her husband and her family, and making a difference in her community and field of practice.
